Farmer's Market

Today my friend Christa and I went to a local farmers market. The place is lovely because it is indoors and climate controlled. The most beautiful local produce is sold at this market. I need to take a Japanese speaking person with me so I can find out what everything is. I've never seen so many different types of leafy greens and root vegetables. I love this place!

Flowers are incredibly cheap, you can buy a a bunch of daisy mums for $1.00, I bought cherry blossom branches today. I got 3 branches for about $1.00!

It was Christa's first time and she loved it!

Packing up bean sprouts. You can cram as much as you want into the bag (this is sometimes interesting to watch) for a little over $1.00

I'm not sure what these are, but they are really big!

These are called Daikon and are a large radish. They have a very mild taste.

My cherry blossoms arranged at home. I love Cherry blossom time of the year in Okinawa.
